The Universal Journal of Law and Humanities (UJLH) provides immediate open access to all published content. All articles are freely accessible online without subscription, registration barriers, or embargo periods.

UJLH operates under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly credited. Authors retain copyright of their work.

The journal does not restrict access to readers and supports the global dissemination of legal and humanistic scholarship.


The Universal Journal of Law and Humanities (UJLH) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across law, justice, governance, and the humanities. The journal promotes careful legal reasoning, strong sourcing practices, ethical academic conduct, and interdisciplinary scholarship that contributes to both theory and practice.

UJLH is published biannually (two issues per year) by BMU Ventures (Private) Limited, Pakistan. ISSN (Online): Pending Assignment.

The journal is committed to publishing rigorous scholarship that advances understanding of law and its relationship with society, culture, ethics, governance, and public policy. It supports intellectual diversity and interdisciplinary engagement while maintaining clear expectations for originality, analytical depth, and verifiable sourcing.

UJLH welcomes submissions from scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and early-career researchers globally. The journal values originality, methodological clarity, and scholarly relevance, including well-argued confirmatory research and critical analyses that advance legal and humanistic understanding.

The journal publishes doctrinal, theoretical, comparative, policy-oriented, and interdisciplinary work. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, constitutional and administrative law; criminal law and criminal justice; civil law and civil procedure; corporate, commercial, and regulatory law; international law and human rights; arbitration and alternative dispute resolution; jurisprudence and legal philosophy; legal history; law and society; law and ethics; law and literature; governance and public policy; comparative legal studies; and interdisciplinary research connecting law with sociology, political science, economics, linguistics, cultural studies, education, public health, and technology.

Submissions should demonstrate analytical depth, clarity of legal reasoning, appropriate engagement with relevant authorities and scholarship, and accurate citation of primary and secondary sources.

UJLH considers original research articles; review articles and critical reviews; case notes and jurisprudence commentary; legislative and policy analysis; interdisciplinary research papers; short communications; and scholarly perspectives. The mission of UJLH is to publish credible, well-argued scholarship in law and the humanities that strengthens legal understanding, supports fair governance, and contributes to ethical and culturally informed public discourse.
